Web Clare is currently looking to work with people on a project by project basis. Both roles suit people to work from home or at a remote location but would need to be available for weekly meetings in County Clare. 

Initially these hirings will be offered on a project by project basis with the potential to move to a more permanent position in the future.

Web Clare is seeking a WordPress Web designer that will build websites on a project by project basis. Position is remote and can be anywhere in the Ireland, but you must be available to meet weekly in County Clare.

About the position:

You will be a freelance web working on a small team that is remotely located (all Irish based staff). The agency works with SME business owners and develops the marketing strategy, automation, assets and copy for the client projects.

You’ll be working with multiple clients that have all different products and services. You won’t have to meet any of the clients directly, you can just focus on building websites. You’ll be handling conversion focused websites, landing pages, eCommerce websites (WooCommerce), booking websites etc. depending on clients needs.

Since you will be a contract team member, you have the freedom to work flexible hours, but you must be available for our weekly team call and any other creative services calls.

Freelance Web Designer duties and expectations

  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to the build, test and launch of the website. You must be able to do all of this on your own.
  • Using our standard website template, implement ideas that bring simplicity and easy user interaction with the site for each client’s brand/project.
  • Have expert knowledge and proficiency on using WordPress platform
  • Be up to date on how to design and build website that creates high conversion, low bounce experiences and that are SEO and Google AMP friendly.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site Maps.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Able to make calls and meetings during standard working hours Monday-Friday (9am-5pm). Notice will be given for weekly face to face meeting.
  • Digital Marketing and Content Copywriting knowledge and experience a bonus.

A freelance web designer that loves to build beautiful, easy to navigate websites and landing pages for a wide range of products and services and have a team to support him/her. This person is used to working from home and can still be an adult, show up to meetings on time, deliver killer web designs and hit deadlines we promise to clients.

The freelance web designer can work quickly on projects and asks the right questions to make sure he/she has the guidelines they need to get the job done.

Web Clare is seeking a Digital Marketing specialist that will run marketing campaigns for clients on a client by client basis. Position is remote and can be based anywhere in the Ireland, but you must be available to meet weekly in County Clare

You have experience working with multiple social media and online advertising platforms and are up to date on the latest technology and content best practices. You’ll be working with multiple clients that have all different products and services.

You are a skilled writer with experience creating both short and long-form copy for the web

Since you will be a contract team member, you have the freedom to work flexible hours, but you must be available for our weekly team call and any other creative services calls.

Initially this will be offered on a project by project basis with the potential to move to a more permanent position in the future.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing plans
  • Participation in brainstorming and strategic meetings
  • Content creation for social media platforms and websites
  • Develop key messages, brand stories
  • Preparing campaign reports and proposals
  • Running creative Social Media campaigns on multiple SM channels
  • Manage Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, and WordPress websites.
  • Traffic Visitor Trends / Conversions using Google Analytics
  • Continual research and development to help us stay at the cutting edge of Digital Marketing
  • Running reports and analysis

Candidate should have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years proven Social Media experience either at an agency level or in house.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent social media knowledge and experience
  • Optimising e-commerce experience and or conversion focused PPC campaigns
  • Experience with industry reporting tools
  • Experience managing multiple projects and working to deadlines
  • High attention to detail & time management skills
  • Strong Command of English both Written & Oral
  • Demonstrate high levels of creativity
  • Video/image editing skills would be desirable
